A 179 kWp commercial solar PV system has been installed at Matthewstown Milling, featuring 308 panels and generating approximately 61,806 kWh of clean energy annually. This low-maintenance installation now provides the site with electricity while avoiding around 36 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year.

Matthewstown Milling could save around €9,271 per year on electricity costs by using this solar power system instead of purchasing electricity from the grid.
This system generates around 61,806 kWh/yr of electricity annually.
By using this system Matthewstown Milling can neutralise CO2 by approximately 36 tonnes of CO2 per year.
The estimated yearly output of this system is equivalent to the energy needed to power around 15 homes in Ireland for a year.
This system has a carbon impact equivalent to planting around 923 mature trees per year.
