The 20,000-square-foot facility is a leading commercial building in terms of energy efficiency and renewable energy production. The A1 energy-rated building is one of the first NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) commercial buildings in the county of Monaghan. We actually produce more energy on-site than we consume and the building itself is completely fitted out with highly efficient heatpumps, LED lighting, rain water harvesting, and the highly insulated building envelope further enhances the energy efficiency measures in place. We are delighted to have achieved NET zero for April, May, June and July in 2023.
